Pink Tagar/Chandni Jasmine Single Petal Healthy Live Plant

The pink tagar plant (botanical name: Tabernaemontana divaricata) is a beautiful, low-maintenance flowering plant. While it’s usually grown outdoors, you can grow it indoors in a pot with the right care.

🌱 1. Pot & Soil Setup

• Pot: Use a medium pot (8–12 inches) with good drainage holes
• Soil mix:
  • Garden soil (40%)
  • Compost/vermicompost (30%)
  • Sand or cocopeat (30%)
• Soil should be well-draining but slightly moist

☀️ 2. Light Requirements (Very Important)

• Tagar needs bright light
• Keep near a south or east-facing window
• Needs 4–6 hours of sunlight daily
• If light is low → fewer or no flowers

👉 Indoors, flowering is the biggest challenge due to light shortage.

💧 3. Watering

• Water when the top inch of soil feels dry
• Avoid overwatering (roots may rot)
• In summer: every 2–3 days
• In winter: once a week (approx.)

• Ideal temperature: 18–32°C
• Avoid cold drafts or AC airflow
• Likes moderate humidity → occasional misting helps indoors
