Adenium (commonly called Desert Rose) is a succulent plant, so it likes sun, warmth, and well-drained soil.

🌞 Light

• Needs full sun for best growth and flowering
• At least 5–6 hours of direct sunlight daily
• Indoors: place near a south- or west-facing window

🌱 Soil

• Must be fast-draining
• Best mix:
  • Cactus/succulent potting mix
  • Add sand, perlite, or pumice for extra drainage
• Never use heavy garden soil

💧 Watering

• Water deeply, then let soil dry completely
• Summer (active growth): about once a week
• Winter (dormant): very little water (every 3–4 weeks)
• Overwatering is the #1 cause of rot ❌

🌡️ Temperature & Humidity

• Loves warm temperatures (20–35°C / 68–95°F)
• Protect from cold: no frost
• Normal household humidity is fine

🪴 Pot & Repotting

• Use pots with drainage holes
• Shallow, wide pots encourage a thick caudex (swollen trunk)
• Repot every 2–3 years during warm season

• During growing season (spring–summer):
  • Feed every 2–4 weeks
