Gond Katira (गोंद कतिरा), also called Tragacanth Gum in English, is a natural gum obtained from the sap of the Astragalus plant. It is commonly used in Ayurveda, Unani especially in India, Pakistan, and Middle Eastern countries.
🍹 How to Use Gond Katira
👉 The most common way is soaking.
- Take 1 teaspoon gond katira.
- Soak it overnight in a glass of water.
- By morning, it will swell up into a jelly-like substance.
- Mix it with sharbat, milk, or lemon water and drink.

- Soaked gond katira + rose syrup/khus syrup + cold water.
- Refreshing and prevents heatstroke.

- Soaked gond katira + warm water + a few drops of lemon in the morning (empty stomach).

- Mix gond katira jelly with rose water and apply as a face mask.
