Neem (Azadirachta indica) is considered a very powerful plant in Ayurveda.
🌿 How to Use Neem Leaves
⚠️ Neem is very strong — always use in moderation (2–5 fresh leaves daily). Overuse may cause stomach upset.
1. Chewing Raw Neem Leaves
- Take 2–5 young fresh leaves.
- Wash thoroughly and chew them on an empty stomach in the morning.
- Bitter in taste, but highly beneficial.
2. Neem Leaf Juice
- Wash 10–15 neem leaves.
- Grind with water, strain, and drink 2–3 tablespoons mixed in a glass of water.
- Best taken in the morning, 2–3 times a week.
3. Neem Paste for Skin
- Crush neem leaves into a paste.
- Apply directly on pimples, acne, eczema, or wounds.
- Wash off after 15–20 minutes.
4. Neem Decoction (Kadha)
- Boil 8–10 neem leaves in 2 cups of water until reduced to half.
- Drink warm (½ cup) once or twice a week for detox.
5. Neem for Oral Care
- Chew neem twig (datun) or
- Boil neem leaves in water, cool it, and use as a natural mouthwash.
