Green Kalmegh leaves (scientifically known as Andrographis paniculata) are a powerful herbal remedy widely used in traditional in Ayurveda and Siddha systems.
How to Use Kalmegh Leaves
1. Fresh Leaf Juice
- Wash 10–15 fresh leaves thoroughly.
- Grind into a paste and extract juice.
- Consume 5–10 ml of juice once or twice daily, preferably on an empty stomach.
- Can mix with honey to reduce bitterness.
2. Kalmegh Tea
- Boil a few leaves in 1 cup of water for 5–10 minutes.
- Strain and drink 1–2 times a day.
- Good for immunity and digestion.
3. Dried Leaf Powder
- Dry the leaves in shade and grind into a fine powder.
- Take 1/2 to 1 teaspoon with warm water or honey daily.
