🌿 How to Use Betel Leaf
- Chewing (Traditional Way)
- Chew 1 fresh leaf after meals (can add fennel or cardamom for taste). .
- Tea / Infusion
- Boil 2–3 leaves in water for 5–10 minutes, strain, and drink warm. Helps with digestion, cold, and bloating.
- Topical Application
- Warm the leaf slightly, apply castor or coconut oil, and place on swollen joints, chest (for congestion), or wounds.
- Juice / Extract
- Crush fresh leaves, extract juice, and mix with honey for cough and sore throat.
- Steam Inhalation
- Add leaves to hot water and inhale vapors for sinus relief.
