🌱 How to Plant Neem
1. From Seeds
- Collect Seeds: Fresh, ripe neem fruits (kernels) are preferred.
- Prepare Seeds: Remove pulp, wash, and soak in water for 24 hours.
- Planting: Sow seeds 1–2 cm deep in pots or seedbeds with well-draining soil.
- Watering: Keep soil moist but not waterlogged.
- Germination: Seeds sprout in 2–3 weeks.
2. From Saplings
- Buy healthy neem saplings from nurseries.
- Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball, plant the sapling, and water regularly.
- Neem prefers sandy, loamy soil and full sun.
3. Care
- Watering: Moderate, more in summer; neem is drought-tolerant once established.
- Fertilizer: Compost or neem cake supports healthy growth.
- Pruning: Remove dry or damaged branches.
