Mussaenda Healthy Flower Plant

Mussaenda (often called Bangkok Rose or Mussaenda Queen) is a beautiful tropical flowering shrub. It’s not difficult to grow if you give it warmth, moisture, and sunlight.

🌞 Light

• Needs bright sunlight for best flowering
• Ideal: morning sun + light afternoon shade
• Too much harsh sun can scorch leaves; too little sun = fewer flowers

🌱 Soil

• Likes rich, well-drained soil
• Best soil mix:
  • Garden soil
  • Compost or well-rotted manure
  • Sand or perlite for drainage
• Soil should be slightly acidic to neutral

💧 Watering

• Water regularly, especially in hot weather
• Keep soil moist but not waterlogged
• Reduce watering slightly in winter
• Mulching helps retain moisture

• Grows best in tropical & subtropical climates
• Ideal temperature: 20–35°C
• Sensitive to cold and frost ❌
