🌞 Sunlight
- Needs 5–6 hours of direct sunlight daily
- Morning sun is best
- Indoors: keep near a bright sunny window or balcony
🪴 Pot & Soil
- Pot with drainage holes (6–8 inch for one plant)
- Soil mix (very important):
- Garden soil – 40%
- Compost/vermicompost – 30%
- Sand or perlite – 30%
- Soil should be loose and well-draining
💧 Watering
- Water when top 1–2 cm soil feels dry
- Water deeply until excess drains out
- Avoid:
❌ waterlogging
❌ watering leaves at night
🌡️ Temperature
- Ideal: 15–30°C
- Protect from:
- Extreme heat (above 35°C)
- Frost and cold winds
🌼 Fertilizer (for more flowers)
- Every 10–15 days:
- Vermicompost or cow dung compost (2–3 tbsp)
- Once a month:
- Liquid fertilizer (seaweed / rose feed)
- Stop heavy feeding in very hot or cold weather
✂️ Pruning & Deadheading
- Remove dry flowers regularly (deadheading)
- Light pruning encourages more branches & blooms
- Major pruning in late winter or early spring
