🌿 Planting & Cultivation
1. Site Selection
- Prefers well-drained soil, rich in organic matter
- Needs full sun for abundant flowering, but partial shade is tolerated
- Can climb trellises, walls, pergolas, or fences
2. Propagation
- Seeds: Collect fresh seeds from mature fruits; soak overnight; sow in seedling trays or pots
- Stem Cuttings: 6–8 inch semi-hardwood cuttings, dipped in rooting hormone, planted in sandy-loamy soil
- Layering: Bend a lower branch to the soil, cover with soil; roots develop in 1–2 months
3. Soil & Fertilizer
- pH: 6.0–7.5
- Add compost or organic manure during planting
- Annual fertilization with compost / organic fertilizer / well-rotted manure enhances flowering
4. Watering & Care
- Regular watering during dry season; avoid waterlogging
- Prune after flowering to maintain shape and encourage more blooms
- Mulching helps retain moisture and control weeds.
