🌱 How to Plant Lojjabati (Butterfly Pea)
1. Climate & Soil

- Prefers well-drained, loamy soil; can grow in slightly sandy or clay soil.
- Full sunlight gives best flowering, but partial shade is fine.
2. Propagation
- From seeds: Most common method.
- Scarify seeds (scratch the hard coat) or soak in warm water for 12–24 hours before sowing.
- Sow 1–2 cm deep in soil.
- From cuttings: Semi-hardwood cuttings can be planted and rooted in soil or water.
3. Planting
- Space plants 30–60 cm apart if growing multiple.
- Trellis or support is useful since it is a climbing vine.
4. Watering & Care
- Water moderately; avoid waterlogging.
- Fertilize with organic compost every 2–3 months for healthy growth.
