Kamini (also called Murraya paniculata or Orange Jasmine) is a fragrant flowering plant that can be grown.

1. Choosing a Planting Medium

• Use a well-draining potting mix.
• Ideal mix: garden soil + compost + sand (2:1:1).
• Ensure the pot has drainage holes to avoid waterlogging.

• Start with a medium-sized pot (10–12 inches diameter).
• As the plant grows, move to a larger pot to accommodate roots.

3. Planting

1. Fill the pot partially with the potting mix.
2. Remove the plant carefully from its nursery bag.
3. Place it in the center and fill around the roots with soil.
4. Press the soil gently and water thoroughly.

4. Light Requirements

• Needs bright, indirect sunlight.
• Can tolerate partial shade, but flowering may reduce.
• A south-facing window is ideal.

5. Watering

• Keep the soil consistently moist but not soggy.
