Kacchi haldi is the fresh, raw form of turmeric root (Curcuma longa).
🌿 How to Use Kacchi Haldi
👉 Always wash thoroughly before use, peel lightly, and use in moderation (too much may cause stomach upset).
- Raw Consumption
- Chew a small piece (½ inch) daily in the morning with warm water.
- Can be taken with black pepper (improves curcumin absorption).
- Golden Milk (Haldi Doodh)
- Grate raw haldi and boil in milk with black pepper & honey.
- Good for immunity, cold, and joint pain.
- Pickle (Haldi ka Achar)
- Slice kacchi haldi, mix with lemon juice, salt, and mustard oil.
- Boosts digestion and immunity.
- Turmeric Tea
- Boil grated haldi with ginger, black pepper, and a little honey.
- Skin Application
- Make a paste with sandalwood/rose water for glowing skin.
- Apply on wounds, insect bites, or acne.
- With Honey
