- Climate: Warm, tropical to subtropical
- Temperature: 20–35°C (68–95°F)
- Sunlight: Partial sun to light shade (too much harsh sun can stress it)
- Best place: Near a fence, trellis, or support for climbing
🌿 Soil Requirements
- Type: Well-drained, fertile soil
- Ideal mix:
- Garden soil + compost + sand (1:1:1)
- pH: Slightly acidic to neutral (6.0–7.5)
🌱 Propagation Methods
1️⃣ From Seeds
- Soak seeds in water for 8–10 hours
- Sow 1–2 cm deep in seed trays or pots
- Keep soil moist (not waterlogged)
- Germination takes 2–3 weeks
⚠️ Fresh seeds germinate better than old ones.
2️⃣ From Cuttings (Recommended)
- Take 6–8 inch semi-hardwood cuttings
- Remove lower leaves
- Dip in rooting hormone (optional but helpful)
- Plant in moist soil or sand
- Roots develop in 3–4 weeks
