Water apple/jamrul leaves (from the Syzygium aqueum tree, also called rose apple, watery rose apple, or jambu) are used in traditional herbal.
🍵 How to Use Water Apple Leaves
⚠️ Always wash leaves thoroughly before use.
- Herbal Tea (for diabetes, immunity, digestion)
- Take 4–5 fresh or dried leaves.
- Boil in 2 cups of water for 10–15 minutes.
- Strain and drink warm, once daily.
- Leaf Paste (for skin issues)
- Crush fresh leaves into a fine paste.
- Apply to rashes, insect bites, or minor skin irritations.
- Mouth Rinse (for gum & teeth health)
- Boil a handful of leaves in water.
- Cool, strain, and use as a natural mouth rinse.
- Chewing Fresh Leaves
- Some traditions recommend chewing 1–2 fresh leaves daily for oral health and digestion.
