🌿 What Are Bael / Bilva Leaves?

- Common names: Bael, Bel, Bilva, Stone Apple
- Nature: Cooling, aromatic, mildly bitter
- Parts used: Leaves, fruit, bark, and roots — but the leaves are especially sacred and medicinal
🙏 1. Spiritual & Religious Uses
Offerings to Lord Shiva
- Bael (Bilva) leaves are considered extremely sacred to Lord Shiva.
- They are offered during Shiv Puja, Mahashivratri, and Mondays.
Method of Offering:
- Pluck fresh, clean Bael leaves (ideally in sets of three leaflets).
- Wash gently with clean water.
- Offer to the Shiva Lingam while chanting “Om Namah Shivaya”.
- You can also place a few on the home shrine or meditation altar for purity and calmness.
Symbolic Meaning:
- The three leaflets represent Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva or the three gunas (Satva, Rajas, Tamas).
- Offering them is believed to remove negativity, bring peace, and please Lord Shiva.

Bael leaves are used in Ayurveda for their detoxifying, digestive, and anti-inflammatory properties.
🌱 A. Bael Leaf Juice (for Digestion and Detox)
Ingredients:
- 4–5 fresh Bael leaves
- 1 cup water
- Optional: a few drops of lemon juice or honey
Method:
- Wash the leaves thoroughly.
- Crush or grind into a paste with water.
- Strain through a cloth.
- Drink 2–3 tablespoons on an empty stomach in the morning.
Benefits:

Method:
