🪴 How to Grow Ulatkambal in a Pot
1. Choose a pot
Use a 12–16 inch pot with good drainage holes. A larger pot is preferable because the plant can become a fairly large shrub.
2. Soil mix
Use a loose, well-draining mixture:
- 40% normal garden soil
- 30% compost/vermicompost
- 20% cocopeat
- 10% sand
3. Planting
Place the seed about 0.5–1 cm deep, cover lightly with soil and water gently.
4. Sunlight ☀️
Give it around 5–7 hours of direct sunlight daily. Strong sunlight helps it grow bushier and flower better.
5. Watering 💧
Water when the upper layer of soil feels dry. Avoid keeping the soil continuously waterlogged.
6. Feeding 🌿
Add a small amount of compost or vermicompost every 30–45 days during active growth.
