Cereus Forbesii Monstrose, commonly known as the Ming Thing Cactus, is a unique ornamental cactus with knobby, sculptural stems. It is a slow-growing, low-maintenance succulent that thrives in warm, dry conditions and is ideal for indoor pots, balconies, and sunny gardens.

🌵 Sunlight

• Prefers 4–6 hours of bright direct sunlight daily.
• Can also grow in bright indirect light indoors near a sunny window.
• Gradually acclimate newly purchased plants to full sun to avoid sunburn.

💧 Watering

• Water only when the soil is completely dry.
• During summer, water every 10–15 days depending on temperature.
• During winter and the rainy season, reduce watering significantly to prevent root rot.
• Never allow water to stand in the pot or saucer.

🌱 Soil

• Use a well-draining cactus or succulent potting mix.
• A good mix consists of:
  • 50% coarse sand or perlite
  • 30% garden soil
