For religious rituals, dried coconut husk chips are commonly used as:
- Havan/Yajna fuel – They catch fire easily and help ignite the sacred fire.
- Camphor base – Place a small piece under camphor to make lighting easier.
- Incense support – Can be mixed with herbs or samagri during havan.
- Eco-friendly fire starter – Produces less chemical residue than synthetic fire starters.
How to use:
- Ensure the husk chips are completely dry.
- Place a few chips in the havan kund.
- Add camphor or a little ghee.
- Light the fire and gradually add wood and havan samagri.
