The Dieffenbachia (Dumb Cane) is a popular indoor plant because of its lush, patterned leaves and relatively easy care.

🌿 Light Requirements

• Prefers bright, indirect light
• Can tolerate low light, but growth slows
• Avoid direct sunlight → it can scorch the leaves

💧 Watering

• Keep soil slightly moist, not soggy
• Water when the top 1–2 inches of soil feel dry
• Reduce watering in winter
• Overwatering can cause root rot

🌡️ Temperature & Humidity

• Ideal temperature: 18–30°C
• Avoid cold drafts (below 15°C)
• Loves moderate to high humidity
  • You can mist leaves or keep a water tray nearby

🪴 Soil & Potting

• Use well-draining potting mix (regular indoor mix works)
• Ensure pot has drainage holes
• Repot every 1–2 years when it outgrows the pot

🌱 Fertilizing

• Feed every 4–6 weeks during growing season (spring & summer)
• Use a balanced liquid fertilizer
