Growing a Polash plant (also called Palash, the “Flame of the Forest”) in a pot is possible, but it needs some care because it’s naturally a medium-sized tree.

🌱 1. Choosing the Right Pot

• Start with a large, deep pot (at least 12–16 inches wide and deep).
• As the plant grows, shift to a bigger container (20–24 inches).
• Make sure the pot has good drainage holes.

🌿 2. Soil Mix

Polash prefers well-draining soil:

• 40% garden soil
• 30% sand (or river sand)
• 30% compost (cow dung or vermicompost)

👉 Soil should not hold too much water—roots don’t like soggy conditions.

• Needs full sunlight (6–8 hours daily).
• Keep it in an open terrace, balcony, or rooftop.

• Water moderately.
